Where on earth are The Brochs?

By car, it takes about two hours from Inverness to get to Achiltibuie and The Brochs of Coigach. The last 15 miles lead over a narrow single track road with passing places - one of Britains most scenic drives.

Inverness is linked by direct rail services to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and London. Scotrail operates an overnight sleeper train from London. Visit www.eastcoast.co.uk, www.scotrail.co.uk and www.scotrail.co.uk/caledoniansleeper/index.html

Inverness Airport is connected to London, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, Dublin and Amsterdam by several major airlines. Check www.ba.com, ww.easyjet.com, www.flybe.com and www.klm.com

In Inverness, all major car hire companies such as Avis, Hertz and Europcar maintain either airport or town offices.
