Scàl's Broch, a one bedroom hide-away with a huge living space and a very large bath and sauna, costs £1308.00 per week includisive VAT @ 20% during high season from 1 April to 23 October 2017. It is quite possible to rent from, say, a Monday, and to depart the following week on a Wednesday, or whatever suits you best, as long as your stay lasts for at least a week. This flexibility brings with it some shorter lets in between. For any short stay opportunities, please have a look at the availability link or contact us directly. Until 31 March, our off-season price of £984.00 per week and rates from £504.00 for 3 day breaks apply. All rates are fully inclusive. We don't believe in charging any extras whatsoever.


Gille Buidhe's Broch, a two bedroom luxury home second to none that can be extended to contain three bedrooms for families, is available at a daily rate of £300.00 and at a weekly rate of £1608 during high season. The minimum stay is two days. Our off-season rates are £1224.00 per week and £240.00 per day, of course inclusive of electricity, unlimited use of the sauna, WiFi broadband, linen, toiletries, towels and so on.


In April and May, we offer a 10% discount from the standard rate in Gille Buidhe's Broch only, so the total cost inclusive of VAT for one week is just £1446.


Our weekly high season rates in 2018 will be £1380 in Scàl's Broch and £1680 in Gille Buidhe's Broch, with off-season prices remaining the same.

 

Booking  conditions:

 

You can move into your Broch at 4pm on the day your rent begins; the rent ends at 10am on the day of your departure. Other arrangements can be made in exceptional circumstances, but please remember that we do need time to clean the properties.

 

A deposit of 30 % of the total is payable along with your name, address and contact details. The deposit is your booking confirmation. We will inform you about our preferred payment options. The balance of the full rent is payable six weeks prior to arrival. We will send you a reminder to tell you that the balance is due shortly so that you do not miss the date. If the balance has not been received, we will contact you by e-mail or phone. If the balance remains outstanding, we may cancel the reservation and open the week for re-letting.

 

If you have to cancel for unforseen reasons, we will, of course, do our utmost to re-let your week. If a re-let can be arranged, your deposit will be returned minus any extra charges that we may incur. We advise, however, that you take out a cancellation insurance so that you are covered for any eventuality.

 

Please remember that you are still obliged to pay the full rent if a re-let cannot be arranged even if you cancel before the balance becomes due.

 

You must be 21 years or over.

 

Occupancy in Scàl's Broch is restricted to 2 adults. In Gille Buidhe's Broch, we can convert the study into a child's bedroom. We will supply a cot and a high chair if you let us know that you will bring a baby

 

Dogs are welcome after prior arrangement.
